You can download a test program from MS, to JD>check compatibility. I know there was a utility to check if ones system could handle the "virtual memory" of XP, but all my systems would need upgrading to pass that test. My main concern is that I have a large number of legacy programs that will run under 32-bit (such as under XP), but they will NOT work under 64-bit. The BBS is one of the last hobbies I can still do, and I can't see upgrading the OS just to satisfy Microsoft's Corporate Greed (never mind the cost), and then having to reinstall everything.
