For the average user outside Australasia that may very well be true. They will probably not be affected in another two to five years, and by then their next hardware upgrade will take care of things without them even be aware of it.

OTOH, ISP's and hardware vendors that have done nothing yet are going to miss the boat. IMNSHO...
