That's odd as 1:14/6 can send and receive Fido traffic from other systems using IPv6. For testing I have forced Ipv6 BinkP connections to 1:14/6 from other Fido systems here and they connect fine.

In doing remote port checks using my tunnel v6 IP I do get conflicting reports as some say that 24554 is open:

Checked port 24554 on Host/IP bbs.twisted-balloon.org...
 The checked port (24554, service binkp) is online/reachable!

 while others say it's closed.

Currently the Linux firewall is inactive for tunnel testing purposes.

Upon further testing I found that if I disabled Synchronet's BinkIt daemon and loaded Binkd 1.1a-96 (Dec 24 2017 00:45:58/Linux) with compilation flags: gcc, debug, zlib, perl, https, ntlm, bwlim. Facilities: fts5004 ipv6 

Then the remote IPv6 remote port checks that showed a closed 24554 port previously, now show the port as being open using IPv6. Before BinkIt, BinkD could be setup to work with Synchronet.
