xp is still working on my smallest asus with just 2048M harddisk, its just sadly microsoft wants me to have moviemaker installed there to fill up unneeded space, 2048M is more then enough for freenas install with plenty of usb 3T disks to have a low powered nas servers that rooks, my asus btw do have support to usb boot, thats one of the best features of asus
