Keep what? The A record for the host name or IPv4 in general? 1) The A record for the host name. Temporarely removing it was just a test. I may or may not conduct more such tests in the future. But as long as there are still many nodes that can only make outgoing calls on IPv4, it makes sense to keep it for now. 2) IPv4 in general. There was a smiley behind that remark, but getting rid of it a soon as we can makes sense. Keeping two not mutually compatable protocols alive, is extra work, creates more bugs and increases the effort to trace and fix those bugs. It certainly makes sense to get rid of it. I do not know if I will live to see it, but I certainly look forward to the day, that I can completely disable IPv4 without missing too much.
