But the writing is on the wall, it isn't forever. My ISP's policy used to be that only new customers get DS-Lite, but it seems they are now also converting existing customers. As long as my present cable modem keeps working I am probably safe, but if it releases its supply of smoke and goes to Modem Walhalla, that may change.
