Hexspeak is here since 1980-es. IPv6 could be called "new" for Fidonet, but FTS-5004.001 is here since 2013-01-06, so there's nothing new in using IPv6 addresses similar to published examples.

Yes, I was the first who used ::f1d0:2:5020:545 address, so I had wrote the FSP-1035 just to release this idea to the public domain and promote it :-)

Or did anyone expected something serious?
