I suspect I will have somewhat longer, because my ISP has traditionally catered
to a more tech savvy clientele, which is one reason they were early with IPv6,
and why I believe they will maintain IPv4 for as long as it provides
significant benefits.

I think that point is approaching.  You could certainly be provided an IPv6
feed from 50+ nodes nowadays.
