Hmm, your setup sounds rather confusing.  Cascading routers just complicates
matters enormously, and I'm not sure what benefits you derive.  I run
everything on a flat LAN here, one router in the path (there are secondary
routers configured as purely wifi access points and/or Ethernet switches, but
they don't take part in any routing).
