It may take a while, but the time that a sysop can only get a DS-Lite connection without extraordinary effort or cost is coming. on the bright side, I think that with 50+ listed IPv6 nodes, we have enough "mass" to make it feasable to run a Fdionet node on a DS-Lite connection. A DS-Lite node still can make outgoing IPv4 connections, so it can poll IPv4 only nodes to get mail. Mail destined for it can be routed via one of the 50+ IPv6 capable IPv6 nodes.
