Maybe you can convince him to install a "real" tunnel. like he.net. 

Or you can enter this as an override in binkd's config:

node 2:5023/24 [2002:3e94:91ed::2];wfido.ru

It will try to connect to [2002:3e94:91ed::2] first and if that fails, it will try IPv4.
