 I have put the following in my /etc/network/interfaces and rebooted.

 ---->8--------
 iface eth0 inet dhcp
    pre-up ip token set ::f1d0:2:280:5006 dev $IFACE
 ---->8----------

 That will only work for Debian type configuration files.
