I'm stuck wth 3(roughly)/1 - ADSL on a 4.7k long line for now.  The new NBN is
under construction here, and when it comes, I will be looking at upgrading to
100/40 (highest speed available)

I'd rather load up OpenWRT on a suitable router and use that. :)
