Subj : RIPE to run out of IPv4 this week? To : Benny Pedersen From : Michiel van der Vlist Date : Tue Jul 31 2012 22:04:41 Hello Benny, On Tuesday July 31 2012 09:53, you wrote to Alexey Vissarionov: AV>> Rationale: RIPE will keep one reserved /24 IPv4 block per each AV>> member, so the number of allocations will be reduced. A /22. Or 1024 addresses. BP> are thay reserved for what ? After RIPE is down to the last /8, the policy will change to: every member can get ONE last /22. No more. Period. An extra condition is that that member must already have requested an IPv6 block to get that last /22. Every member that had their last /22, will only get IPv6 adresses from then on.
