Currently, my DNS provider's nameservers have IPv4 glue only. And with PremiumDNS if I go with private nameservers, the PremiumDNS I paid for isn't used. So my best bet is probably to take a look at another (hopefully free?), non-permanent option that I can use quickly just to make he.net happy. 

Was that Markus offering up some free nameservers? :)

Agreed. When I did so it took the better part of half the day to make sure everything was functioning properly. I'm currently out with a work injury (shattered my heel bone) so I had the time. Had I been still working, it wouldn't have gotten done yet, much like your case. :)
