E-mail is a strict clint-server thing. An e-mail client does not need a globally unique address and an e-mail server with one globally unique IPv4 address can serve thousands of clients. So shortage od addresses is not an issue for e-mail. Thta may be the reason IPv6 adoption foe MTA's is very slow...
