That make sense. It is grayed out for the same reason that your WAN IP adres is greyed out. The WAN IPv4 adres is set by your ISP and communicated to your router by DHCP. The IPv6 prefix is set by your ISP and communicated to your router by a mecanism called "prefix delegation".
