Michiel, In a message to Andre Grueneberg you wrote: MvdV> It will mean switching from a dynamic AMA mailer to a binkly style MvdV> setup. Frankly, I am not all that eager to take the plunge, but MvdV> what must be, must be. Such a switch is painless. I went through it back in 1998/1999 after a machine crash, and then rebuild. First to BinkleyTerm (BT), then BT+binkD shortly afterward when a local mail link 'pulled the pin' and I had to get mail from a l-o-n-g distance source. A couple of years later and I was running Argus, and then Radius since 2002/2003. Just recently, I had to revert to just using BinkD on a backup machine which is why I've since dropped all mention of telnet-like protocols in my nodelisting. Some people use BT+binkD to utilise BT's poll manager function (and I can still as I continue to ensure BT's nodelist indexes are maintained) but I use Windows' own scheduler, to keep it simple (KISS). What is it that scares you, Michiel? Cheers, Paul. --- * Origin: Hey SysOp! You'd better upgrade me or el%$^&%NO CARRIER (3:640/384) .
