Subj : BinkD IPv6 To : Andre Grueneberg From : Michiel van der Vlist Date : Thu Nov 03 2011 21:54:07 Hello Andre, On Thursday November 03 2011 14:40, you wrote to me: MvdV>> The Windows crowd does not usually compile their own stuff. AG> Which of the different versions of BinkD for Windows are you using? None. I am not using BinkD at all. My Binkp mailer is Irex. It has been doing fine for well over a decade. Unfortunately it is abandonware for all intents end purposes, the chance of it ever be upgraded to IPv6 seems to be zero. So if I want to go along with the unavoidable, I will have to switch mailers. Binkd looks like a good candidate. It will mean switching from a dynamic AMA mailer to a binkly style setup. Frankly, I am not all that eager to take the plunge, but what must be, must be. AG> Maybe I can setup a build environment for it here (mingw should be AG> simple, cygwin not much harder). There is no hurry. Iron out the bugs for the Linux version first, I'd say. We can worry about porting to Windows later... Cheers, Michiel --- GoldED+/W32-MINGW 1.1.5-b20070503 * Origin: 2001:470:1f15:1117::1 (2:280/5555) .
