I think bellsouth did that back in the Nineties when some smooth-talking woman called me and convinced me to upgrade my DSL to a faster speed. With that came the aforementioned free static address and once hooked, I stayed hooked. It turned out to be a wise decision after the change at DYNDNS and so I no longer needed the Updater program. The cost is $15/month here. Regards, Roger --- DB 3.99 + Windows 10 * Origin: NCS BBS (1:3828/7) .
