I had hoped though that existing customers could keep their IPv4 address for some time, at least till the conversion to an IPv6 internet was almost ready. KE> At least you can still reach those who have not converted to IPv6. And I can still make outgoing connections on IPv4. But it does severely restrict my Fiodonet connectivity as long as the majority of Fidonet nodes has not yet converted to IPv6. When I left HccNet (dsl) in favour of Casema, I specifically asked if running servers was allowed and the answer was yes. I know that some ISPs have a ban against running servers in the contract, but that is not the case here. I can always change providers. Xs4all hands out dual stack connections.
