BP> thats fair enough, but dont claim others is not ! I make no such claim. Expressing doubt is not the same as making a claim. And frankly I doubt that YOU are completely 100% IPv6 ready. MvdV>> My router is IPv6 capable, I have two functional tunnels running. BP> tell us your problem now ? I have no problem. MvdV>> The machines on the LAN that are IPv6 capable - the ones MvdV>> running XP and higher - are assigned IPv6 addresses and they MvdV>> can access the IPv6 internet. BP> teredo rules :) No. Teredo sucks. I have a 6in4 tunnel with HE and an AYIYA tunnel with SixXs. MvdV>> But my web server is still IPv4 only BP> shame on you :) All in due time. First things first. MvdV>> and so is my VOIP to analog phone adapter. BP> fair enough, there is still not any known stable voip out there except BP> if one install astrix on localhost Asterix is not a VOIP to analog adapter. MvdV>> My FON spot is IPv4 only too... BP> super and you plan to drop ipv4 very soon ?, lol :) You are putting words into my mouth. I never said I would drop IPv4 "very soon". Those are your words. I just reported that the Veterans Association plans to drop it on 1 Oct. 2014. I never said i would do the same. I just said, it makes sense to keep the transition period as short as possible and then switch IPv4 off. Did you actualy read the article I referred to? http://tinyurl.com/6bxvyyt MvdV>> And of course the main item for this audience: my binkp server MvdV>> is not IPv6 capable either. BP> shame on you, For not using Linux? Ow c'mon.. BP> with binkd compiled with proxy support it is, i have already maked the BP> gentoo/funtoo ebuild for this so atleast thease 2 nice os can use it BP> without a single c code change in binkd Does it work for windows? MvdV>> Irex is abandonware, and so I will have to dump it some day. BP> should have being in 2001 :) Nonsense. It ia abandonware, but that does not mean one can not use it. MvdV>> I just learned that there now is another IPv6 capable IP MvdV>> mailer. There was Michiel Broek's MBSE BP> currect MvdV>> and now there is Rudi Timmermans' AmiBinkd. BP> incorrect, there is no ipv6 tcp stack on amiga So what? This guy is an assembler guru. He can ADD an IPv6 stack to it. MvdV>> Yes, you got that right, a binkp mailer for the Amiga! BP> just only ipv4 still :) That is not what Rudi told us. MvdV>> IPv6 included. How about that? BP> why not prove it works ? It is not for me to prove that someone else's creation works. Ik do not have an Amiga, I just report what Rudi told us. If you do not believe it, you can contact him yourself. You can find him in the Binkp echo or at 2:292/625.50 Cheers, Michiel --- GoldED+/W32-MINGW 1.1.5-b20070503 * Origin: 2001:470:1f15:1117::1 (2:280/5555) .
