I found that when I closed the tunnel and the virtual LAN device had ceased to exist then Netfoss connections worked again. The error is seen regardless of connection to the BBS via LAN or over the internet. I did upgarde Netfoss but sadly no difference in outcome. I want to ensure my BBS callers can keep playing their Othernet inter-league BBS games so the tunnel may not be running 24/7 and I will likely need to look at other hardware options in the medium term to try and bring things back to a replacement router running in a 6in4 state. Will sleep on this and see if I can figure out other angles to explore.
