   Oh yes, at least Johan Billing did. All of his programs (e.g. crashmail) waere originally written for the Amiga. And he even helped me make a version of MakeNl that compiled on the Amiga (SAS if I remember correctly).

   Unfortunately our version seems to have been dropped from the official distribution now, but you can get it from me if you ask nicely.  8-)
