If you remove the hostnames that return "hostname not found", and then reduce the set by removing duplicates, only 665 remain. You should use what feels good to you. Yesterday I decided to make a new batch file for a service I may setup. As a start I took an old one that had some of the functionality I wanted. To my surprise I had put the date when the tool was built into the header of the file, 18-01-1994. The conclusion is that the basic setup of my node is about 21 years old. I recently moved this same setup to a RaspberryPi, that now has a happy life as 2:280/5006. The software it runs started its life on a minicomputer, a Sun, or a pdp11.
