There are already mailers around for both Windos and *nix that can do it without that ploy... BF> There are 824 binkp nodes in the present nodelist. How many of those are active? That didn't happen either. I am not taking the bet, as I said, I am a lousy forecaster, I do not know what will happen first. What I do know is that I did not want to wait any longer for someone to fix may favorite mailer so that I did not have to make any significant changes to my configuration to become a member of the Fidonet IPv6 club. So I took the plunge and went for the "right solution": the mailer that does IPv6 all by itself and if that meant a major system change, so be it. The major system change gave me an opportunity to do a major system clean up as well. Lots of old, no longer needed stuff went to the bit bucket. I do not regret it.
