now you know why i have:

   ----- resolv.conf begins -----
nameserver 127.0.0.1
   ----- resolv.conf ends -----

and a installed bind9 (named) just listning on 127.0.0.1

i do not use any forward dns at all, if dns hosters tell you to use there dns, then just say no
