Subj : Connectivity problems? To : Michiel van der Vlist From : Bj”rn Felten Date : Mon Apr 21 2014 15:54:07 MvdV> I don't see how this has anything to do with SixXs' DNS servers. When I MvdV> try to ping you, my side resolves felten.yi.org to MvdV> 2001:16d8:ff00:306::2. It pings the IP number, not the host name, so MvdV> SixXs' DNS servers are not involved. Yes, but are you using your SixXS tunnel? I seem to recall that you have other tunnels, do you get the same result there? MvdV> How about restarting the tunnel? I did that as soon as I got your first netmail about the problem. From what I can see in the log file, it's only sixxs tunnels that get the time-out. E.g. xs4all seems to work OK. Very strange indeed. MvdV> P.S. I just checked my tunnel. It has been up for 75 days... My three SixXS tunnels are connecting via three different ISP providers. Two 3G and one ADSL. All three are still reported down by SixXS, but they all work. Really strange for sure. Alas, let's see what happens when Jesus resurrects and flies home to his father... 8-) --- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; sv-SE; rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20101125 * Origin: news://felten.yi.org (2:203/2) .
