Subj : Time warp? To : Wilfred van Velzen From : Bj”rn Felten Date : Thu Mar 20 2014 16:55:03 WvV> I'm using a compiled from source linux version of binkd. And Michiel WvV> showed without a doubt the problem is with argus (and radius) reporting WvV> the wrong date to the other side. But indeed this is just a cosmetic WvV> problem, so we could ignore it if we like... ;) So why is there a part of binkd.cfg that says: # Tzoff corrects UTC time returned by time() under DOS-derived OS # #tzoff 10800 Is there some issues in the binkp protocol or what? From I understand from the FAQ this is because time() issues with various C compilers -- most notably those from Redmond. Yeah well, I don't want to stir up the hornets nest that the binkd development crew seem to have created, so I rest my case ATM. 8-) --- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; sv-SE; rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20101125 * Origin: news://felten.yi.org (2:203/2) .
