   So why is there a part of binkd.cfg that says:

# Tzoff corrects UTC time returned by time() under DOS-derived OS
#
#tzoff 10800

   Is there some issues in the binkp protocol or what? From I understand from the FAQ this is because time() issues with various C compilers -- most notably those from Redmond.

   Yeah well, I don't want to stir up the hornets nest that the binkd development crew seem to have created, so I rest my case ATM. 8-)
