Subj : IPv6/4 indicator To : Michiel van der Vlist From : Bj”rn Felten Date : Mon Jun 20 2011 14:49:13 MvdV> felten.yi.org does not have a AAAA record. Ahhh... Shit! Are you sure? (Yes of course you are sure, you're the expert here... :). MvdV> So how doI connect to it using IPv6? I have absolutely no idea. All I could see was that the button you recommended worked. But now -- after your latest information -- I realize that it wasn't a particularly reliable test of my server. On a totally unrelated matter: Those of you engaged in file sharing via the BitTorrent technology can contribute to a faster conversion to IPv6. If you are using uTorrent, you can create a file named 'ipfilter.dat' with just one line in it: 000.000.000.000 - 255.255.255.255 , 000 , IPv4 space Save it in your uTorrent folder -- under Windows that's Documents and settings\\Application Data\uTorrent -- and then right-click any entry in the "Peers" menu in the lower right window and select "Reload IPFilter" (or simply restart uTorrent if you prefer to). After that you'll be sharing only with those connected with IPv6. That'll teach them to get their act together ASAP... :) --- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; sv-SE; rv:1.9.2.18) Gecko/20110613 * Origin: news://felten.yi.org (2:203/2) .
