  Well, since Janis is retiring as Z1C, maybe the new Z1C will have that
as part of their duties. Some echoes only get "autoposts" once a month.
However, many of the BBS ad echoes get these "autoposts" for a specific
system several times a day...and to me, that's overkill!!

  I've seen some of those echo moderators ask that these posts be no
more than 2 or 3 times a week...but that request "falls on deaf ears". I
post mine once every 7 days...I want folks to logon to my BBS because
they WANT to...and NOT because they have to.

  Lately, most of my new users have come via another hobby...amateur
radio...as I promo the BBS through one of the digital modes, D-Rats.
When another amateur radio operator asks for information about me, they
see "Visit my ham radio/weather BBS at wx1der.dyndns.org" -- talk about
a shameless plug. :)
