      Title: Mediterranean Meatball Sandwiches
 Categories: Beef, Vegetables, Herbs, Breads, Dairy
      Yield: 4 servings
 
      1 sm Onion, finely chopped
    1/4 c  Minced fresh parsley
    1/2 ts Salt
    1/4 ts Pepper
      1 lb Ground beef
      4    Whole pita breads; warmed
           Refrigerated tzatziki sauce

MMMMM---------------------OPTIONAL TOPPINGS--------------------------
           Sliced tomato
           Chopped red onion
           Shredded lettuce
 
  In a large bowl, combine onion, parsley, salt and
  pepper. Add beef; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into
  four 4" X 2" oblong patties.
  
  Grill patties, covered, over medium heat or broil 4"
  from heat, 4-6 minutes on each side. Serve on pitas with
  tzatziki sauce and toppings as desired.
