      Title: Chocolate Snowballs
 Categories: Cookies, Snacks, Nuts, Chocolate
      Yield: 48 servings
 
    3/4 c  Butter; softened
    1/2 c  Sugar
    1/2 ts Salt
      1 lg Egg; room temp
      2 ts Vanilla extract
      2 c  A-P flour
      1 c  Chopped pecans or walnuts
      6 oz Chocolate chips
           Confectioners' sugar
 
  Set oven @ 350AoF/175AoC.
  
  In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar and salt until
  light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  Gradually beat in flour. Stir in pecans and chocolate
  chips.
  
  Shape dough into 1" balls; place 2" apart on ungreased
  baking sheets. Bake until set and bottoms are lightly
  browned, 15-20 minutes. Cool on pans 2 minutes. Roll
  warm cookies in confectioners' sugar. Cool completely on
  wire racks. If desired, reroll cookies in confectioners'
  sugar.
