My son is in scouts and has been pretty excited about his cooking merit
badge.

He's 15 years old and watches a lot of youtube cooking channels. He's
been into was waygu stuff and was hounding me for one for his birthday.
I already got him a big pot of tallow and he's been using it on steaks
that he cooks for himself. I'd love to partake with him but my
lifestyle finally caught up with and I now have gout attacks if I eat
too much red meat.

I did get him an A5 waguy for Christmas and I don't think I've ever
seen him so excited. I had some of it, it was very rich and I wouldn't
be able to each much of it.

Anyway, yesterday he made bacon, egg and sausage sandwiches for lunch
and then bbq pulled pork on a toasted bun with beans and home made
coleslaw. He nailed it!

He has to do 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 3 dinners so I'm excited to
see what he has planned. For a 15 year old, I think he's become pretty
self-sufficient, when it comes to cooking anyway. Just wanted to brag
on a bit of scout home cooking!
