Subj : 01/01 Bloody Mary Day -1 To : All From : Dave Drum Date : Thu Dec 30 2021 15:02:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Bloody Mary Steak Categories: Beef, Marinades, Chilies Yield: 4 Servings 1 lb Skirt or flank steak MMMMM--------------------------MARINADE------------------------------- 2 c Spicy V8 Juice 2 tb Prepared horseradish 4 cl Garlic; minced Juice of 1 lemon 1/2 tb Worcestershire sauce Hot sauce Fresh ground black pepper Combine V8, horseradish, garlic, lemon juice, Wooster sauce, hot sauce and pepper in a baking dish and use a whisk to mix. Add steak and turn to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Marinate for at least 2 hours - up to 12. Preheat a grill (or a grill pan). Pour off marinade and discard. Dry well. When the grill, or pan is hot, put steak in and cook for 3-5 minutes per side, depending on how well done you want it. Let meat rest. Slice thin, against the grain. Serve with roasted asparagus and mashed sweet potatoes (mashed with a bit of stock and/or Half & Half).
