October 1: Homemade Cookies Day

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Cookies While You Sleep
 Categories: Cookies, Nuts, Snacks, Desserts
      Yield: 3 Dozen
 
      2    Egg Whites
        pn Salt
    2/3 c  Sugar
    1/2 ts Almond Extract
      1 ts Vanilla Extract
      1 c  Chocolate Chips
      1 c  Nuts; fine chopped

  Beat egg whites until frothy. Add salt and continue
  beating until stiff. Gradually add sugar. Beat until
  very thick. Add almond extract and vanilla extract.
  Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
  
  Line cookie sheet with foil and drop mixture onto sheet
  by teaspoons. Put cookies in oven heated to 350ºF/175ºC,
  close door tightly and turn off heat.
  
  GO TO SLEEP FOR THE NIGHT.
  
  Serves/Makes: 3 dozen
