MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Orange Spice date nut bread
 Categories: Breads, Fruits, Nuts, Citrus, Herbs
      Yield: 9 serviings

      2 tb Butter
      1 c  Granulated sugar
      1 lg Egg
      2 c  Flour
    1/2 ts Baking soda
      1 ts Baking powder
    1/4 ts Ground nutmeg
      1 ts Ground cinamon
    1/4 ts Ground cloves
      1 c  Chopped dates
    3/4 c  Chopped walnuts
  2 1/2 tb Grated orange rind
    3/4 c  Orange juice

  Beat the butter, sugar and egg together.

  In another bowl mix the flour, baking soda, baking
  powder, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Add to the sugar
  mixture,and stir really well.

  Stir in the dates, nuts and orange rind to the mixture.
  Add in the orange juice last and stir until combined
  really well.

  Put mixture in to a greased and floured bread pan & bake
  @ 350ºF/175ºC for 50-60 minutes,or until pick comes out
  clean.

  Serves: 8-10
