      Title: Deidra Henry's Pesto
 Categories: Sauces, Herbs, Cheese, Nuts
      Yield: 1 Servings
 
      2 c  Fresh local basil
      2 cl Garlic
    1/4 c  Grated parmesan cheese
    1/2 c  Pine nuts or walnuts
    1/2 c  Olive oil
    1/4 ts Kosher salt
 
  Combine all ingredients into a blender or food
  processor, and pulse until fine. For a rustic texture,
  chop basil, garlic, and nuts by hand, then combine with
  rest of ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine. For
  variety in flavor, consider substituting kale, swiss
  chard, or collard greens for basil.
