The first epiphany I had was that the approach is NOT the same but, I thought it would be a great tangent during the pandemic. In as much as you are focusing on rhythm and harmony, what an excellent approach to theory! I have to focus on the beat and stay away from melody. Technique is not the same if you stay away from using a pick. I could say that guitar is more like singing and bass is more like dancing! So far I am humbled by how much noise I make from the strings I do not intend to hear because I am not damping them properly. I have much respect for the accomplished bass players. So I have had a dose of reality, it's not a piece of cake but I am intrigued so I am trying. Now jumping from trombone is is challenging but you already sight read. I have to plod through this as well. --- SBBSecho 3.11-Win32 * Origin: (1:322/757) .
