Honestly I do not know what went wrong as I got no errors when making the install, although when looking over what I did I noticed that I grabbed the .zip file originally and built and installed that one which created the problem, so I went back to the repo and got the same version tar file built it installed it voila it went back to normal...

?? who knows sorry...
