Loved the view, hated the mind-splitting headache. Every one in our party
got it from the altitude at one point or another. We went back down the
mountain to the base camp at 9k or so, and the air felt *thick*.

After a couple of days of trail mix, protein bars, peets coffee and
backpacking meals, pizza in Lancaster tasted heavenly.
