For the last two weeks my kids have been building a medieval blanket fort every evening to sleep in. Many nights they also stayed up past their bedtime playing fortnight under its protective cover. It was a night knight fort for Fortnight for a fortnight. I was reading a bedtime story to my daughter when the book abruptly ended. We were both perplexed, and my daughter asked, “Is it over?”, to which I replied, “Yep, that’s all she wrote!” Me: (enormous, burly fart) Her: My god, that sounds like an animal! Me: Yeah.
