Okay, so if the number decreases to 5 that would only require 2 
nominations/elections, as I understand it.

Yes, it does make sense, and thank you for your help in clarifying this 
for me.  Perhaps a change to 5 (from 10) for now, with thought (and 
discussion) given to bringing it to 3 at some point in the future if 
that makes sense at the time.
