I know that 'someone has to do it'. And I'm no good software developer  
(concerning FTN software, I only added some functions to HatchIT, the  
hatching software of Synchronet), so I'm not available for such big  
projects.

I thought that while the people who do write good software (like Rob  
or Tim) are currently talking about this topic, I could add an idea to  
that topic.

But as it doesn't seem to be appropriate to take part in such a  
conversation without developing myself, I will leave this discussion  
now.
