There's a reason why the larger Fidonet of Yore limited hats but I'm afraid we
no longer can do that cleanly.

I do agree with you that dusting off the 'rules' is a good idea, but it's hard
to do in the middle of an election.  Frankly, one of the other RC's will do the
honors if there is a problem.
