                    PING robot survey, a follow up

Eight weeks ago I published a PING robot survey. This is a follow up.

I had hoped that my previous article would encourage sysops to add
PING funtionality to their systems, but so far the result is only
two new PING flags in the nodelist and one sysop who is working on
it.

Note that I write PING in capitals. To emphesize the difference
between the Fidonet "PING" and the IP level "ping" of the InterNet.

The two new systems are:

1:229/426 AKA 1:1/0 and 2:5058/104 AKA 2:5058/0.

The number of unique systems flying a PING flag in the nodelist is
now 38. 10 in Z1, 27 in Z2 and 1 in Z3. Of those 38, 7 fly a PING
flag, but have no active PING responder or the system is off-line.
They should either have the PING flag removed, fix the PING
responder or be removed from the nodelist.

There are 2 systems that list a PING flag in the Z2 pointlist. They
respond to a PING.

* 2:2448/0 is an AKA of 2:2448/1021. But only 2:2448/1021 flies the
PING flag and answers on a PING request.
