Sure.. Except I did it as a test because the Telegam Bot Spec suggests that /Help is one of the three commands your bot needs to support as a minimum. I was testing to see whether the inline bot and the PM bot were responding any differently.

/start - begins interaction with the user, e.g., by sending a greeting message. This command can also be used to pass additional parameters to the bot (see Deep linking)
