  I zapped a bunch of inactive networks...mainly those from the systems
of Kris Jones and Gert Kofoed Andersen...as I had not heard from either
of them, or had seen any traffic from either system in quite some time.

  Valentine's Week, we had 2 snowstorms, just hours apart...that brought
a corridor of 1 1/2 to 2 feet of snow from southwest of Texarkana to
northeast of Little Rock. On Feb. 16, it was -1 at Little Rock, with a
high of 16, and snowing. A week later, Feb. 23, it was 76 and sunny, and
the snow was gone.

  As we head into meteorological spring, it's also Arkansas' tornado
season...and true to form, several days of thunderstorms are forecast
here...so I'm going to be offline more than usual. All modes of severe
weather (tornadoes, large hail, and damaging wind) are possible...with
flash flooding likely, as the ground is so saturated from all the snow
melt, then rains afterwards.
