Subj : Uh...that's pronounced 'q To : August Abolins From : Daryl Stout Date : Thu Feb 04 2021 10:06:00 August, DS> The man in the next booth leans over, and tells the DS> stunned customer "Uh...that's pronounced 'quiche'". AA> Reminds me of a joke some people liked to play on the very AA> conservative and "proper" person in the cubicle at one of my AA> places of work. When it was around noon, some female employees AA> that I worked with would come up to my cubicle and say "Hey, AA> August.. wanna go for a quickie?" It was particularly fun when 2 AA> girls would come by. Of course, we were only going out for AA> lunch. ;) Never mind an order "to go". AA> There was a fellow who had a repertoire of code words for almost AA> everything. He was hilarious. It sounds like it. I've seen the YouTube videos of the military parents coming home to surprise their family (in many cases, their kids), and they had to use code words, and tell a lot of lies to keep the surprise in tact. Yet, the look on the kids faces when they saw their parents, as the kids broke down into tears, was priceless. :) Daryl ....
