  The more I look around today, it's like common sense is extinct...
which is plain stupidity.

  It reminds me of the incident in a Miami, Florida courtroom, where
this young Hispanic girl got caught with illegal possession of Xanax.
The judge was a kindly old grandfather, who wouldn't hurt a fly...but,
the girl was uncaring and flippant in her attitude over the entire
incident, thinking the whole thing was just a funny joke.

  So, after she said "Adios" (good-bye) to him, he called her back,
and he doubled her bail from $5000 to $10,000...and HE said "Adios"!!

  To which, she promptly flipped him off, and said "[Screw] You!!".
He called her back, and she said "Yeah, what's up??" (no respect
for authority). 

  He asked her if he heard her right, and she said "yes"...to which, he 
sentenced her to 30 days in the County Jail.

  As she was handcuffed and led away, she said "That's fine".

  CNN's Jeannie Moos prefaced the story with "Do NOT...I repeat...
Do NOT...do this in court!!" <G>.
